US Military Surplus 4-pc Modular Sleep System (MSS)

The MSS, Modular Sleep System, is composed of 4 pieces:

• Waterproof Bivvy
• Lightweight patrol sleeping bag
• Cold weather sleeping bag
• Compression carry bag

Pack and layer as needed depending on weather.  One of the most sought after pieces of military surplus because of it's versatility.  Not the smallest, nor lightest sleep system -- but rugged, warm, and reliable.  

All sleeping bags come pre-seasoned with military grade farts.

   • 50 to 30°F when used alone

   • OD Green or Foliage green
2. Intermediate cold weather (ICW) sleeping bag
   • 30 to -10°F when used alone
   • 4 pounds
