Building on Norotos’ legacy product the Standard Rugged Helmet Mount, the RHNO II HORN style NVGs has an updated eye relief bar, adjustable tension tab friction lock, and a removable bracket for different mounts -- the RHNO II is a fairly modern NVG Mount.

Ergonomically optimized for safety, RHNO II features an intuitively user-friendly operational experience with a customizable fit. The lower profile stow position provides a heightened compact silhouette and a center of gravity promoting natural head and neck alignment thereby greatly reducing muscle strain and fatigue.

Norotos patented something called the "Glide-Rite Infinitely Adjustable" thingamajig.  It just means you can adjust the eye relief distance with a smooth friction lock with a  quick turn lever.  

In short: It's better, lighter, and newer.  Therefore, it costs most than the older RHNO Gen 1.
