US Military Surplus GripPods GPS-02 Bipod

The early GWOT days were a wild time.  If you had a product that you could sell to the military, they were buying!  No matter how goofy or whimsy.  

Old heads will remember waves and waves of RFI, the Rapid Fielding Initiative, showing up.  Units would be sent crates and crates of miscellaneous optics, accessories, slings, and you name it.  No one read the manuals, no one had the same optic, no one knew how to zero.  It was terrifying.  You just tried to grab what looked cool.  Inside this bounty of tactical trash were the GripPods.  

Both a vertical grip, and a quick deploying bipod, the GripPod seemed like a 2 for 1 special!  Except there are better vertical grips out there, and there are certainly better bipods.  But there isn't anything that does both like this.  The key feature is you can set your rifle on the ground and it will stand up and off the dirt and mud.  As quick as these went on guys' rifles, they came right off.

Now though?  Now you can build a GWOT clone, bro!  

These are NOS, New Old Stock, samples.  Most with the original bubble wrap and paper insert.
