Made during the 40's and 50's -- zip-up wool sleeping bags were standard issue for the US military. Part of a sleep system that included a canvas bivvy, the blanket can be laced into the bivvy or used independently.
Only a couple of samples in stock that came from a private collection. Fully serviceable and in great condition for being 80 something years old. That said, you can probably hunt for a better deal online where they have these available in bulk.
