US Surplus Contract M4 Waffle Carbine Stock

In the depths of the internet there are people researching cage codes and date stamps, all just to source when the plastic stock was made so they match it to an era for their clone gun.

That's crazy.  Anyway.

This is a Colt/Colt subcontracted US military stock.  Many of these are new in bag and all from the same source.  There's a picture of the bag they come in.  That's as far as we go.  To us, they look legit and feel like standard issue stocks.  They must be new old stock because the latch tab is stiff so these should offer really good lock up on your rifle.  

You can buy shitty Chinese knockoffs for cheaper, true.  And you probably wouldn't notice a difference up until the point you need to mortar the gun to clear a jam.  And when your China stock shatters like porcelain -- then you'll curse the heavens and think "Why am I such a cheap POS and didn't buy that USA Made stock that was once available at ODGG Supply?  What a fool I am"
