I'm a 28 inch (71 cm ish) soviet conscript larping-ass waist. It fits perfectly. If that's not enough, it goes all the way down to a 8 inch (20cm) waist with a strong lock. AAnd goes even smaller with uneven pressure down to 5 (13 cm), after that the belt buckle is your limiter. And in the other way? It'll reliably lock on a 48 inch (122cm) waist, potentially (probably) slightly more but you're gambling. Remember 52.5 inch total length here. No bullshit 1 inch holes either, its about a centimeter (~1/2 inch) gap between stitched setting stops, but has enough friction to hold inbetween too.

Directions: wrap around self as normal, then thread belt strap OVER the metal pin inside the buckle assembly (the thing that annoys you quickly), holding both ends of the pin down to make the mouth as open as possible. When nearing your size, pull slightly on the pin and hold it against the friction gently until the belt is right where you want, then pull on the pin against the strap with some minor vigour to lock it in place. So far I have not had it slip myself. If it feels a bit tight or you sit down and it digs in, I find backing it off just a bit fixes it. The belt operates on friction not belief in brass pins, so it wont be going anywhere as long as the pin is locked.
